MySQL is a fast, multi-threaded, multi-user open source SQL database server.

The MySQL database is released under the GNU General Public License (GPL). MySQL can be used for free when you are not distributing any part of the MySQL system. For example: If you run a commercial web site using the MySQL Database Software as long as MySQL is not distributed.

Installing MySQL GUI Tools Bundle for 5.0



Information
MySQL GUI Tools Bundle for 5.0 includes the following products:
  • MySQL Administrator 1.2 Generally Available
  • MySQL Query Browser 1.2 Generally Available
  • MySQL Migration Toolkit 1.1 Generally Available

Procedure
  1. Download, execute mysql-gui-tools-5.0-r12-win32.msi and press Next button.

  2. Accept the terms and press Next button.

  3. Change the MySQL Tools destination folder, e.g.: C:\tools\MySQL Tools for 5.0\ and press Next button.

  4. Select setup type "Complete" and press Next button.

  5. The wizard is ready to begin installation, press Install button.

  6. When the wizard is finished, press the Next button twice.

  7. The wizard is completed, press the Finish button.
