Do I need to register to search IT jobs?

No registration or fees are necessary to search for IT jobs.

How do I contact a company which posted a job?

To respond to an advertisement you are interested in on the site, apply according to the instructions specified by the company within the advertisement.

Where can I post my CV/resume?

At this moment Mobilefish.com does not offer this service yet.

How frequently is the job listing updated?

New jobs are posted as soon as they are submitted.

How long do jobs remain on the listing?

Jobs can remain until the closing date assigned by the prospective employer.

Can I print out a job detail?

In the "Search results" section click a job tile.
The "Job details" and "Company details" are displayed.
A print button can be found right of "Job details".

During the job application process, the job advertiser has has asked me to provide them with my bank account details. Should i do this?

Never provide your bank acount details. Should you receive a request of this nature please send an email to Mobilefish.com. The advertiser account resposible for the mis-use will be deactivated.

Jobs posted by a recruitement agency is displayed in the listing. How can I not display these jobs?

Please send an email to Mobilefish.com. The advertiser account who posted these jobs will be deactivated.

This service is mis-used for purposes that were not intended. How can I report it?

Please send an email to Mobilefish.com. The advertiser account resposible for the mis-use will be deactivated.

How much does it cost to post jobs?

It is free to post jobs.

Why is this service free?

This service is free because we generate our revenue through advertising on the site and you can not post more than 20 jobs at a time. You will not be billed if you sign up.

Do I need an account to post IT jobs?

To post jobs you need an account. Your email address and company URL are important. The email domain (myname@mobilefish.com) must match the company domain (https://www.mobilefish.com). During the manual validation process your company website is visted, to verify if it is no recruitement agency. Only companies offering real jobs will receive an account.

How long will it take to receive an account?

It will take a maximum of 48 hours before you receive an account.

I have requested for an account but it has been denied. Why?

Mobilefish.com will approve your request if all of the following requirements are met:
  • Your email domain (myname@mobilefish.com) must match your company domain (https://www.mobilefish.com).
  • You have used your corporate email address. Email addresses from free email services will not be accepted.
  • Your company offers real jobs and is not a recruitement agency.
Can I only post IT jobs?

You can post any job you want but it is recommended that you post IT jobs because IT job seekers will primarily visit this site.

My job has been filled and I want to take it down. What do I do?

Method 1: Delete the Job
  • Login to your account.
  • Press the link "Post and edit jobs".
  • Select the operation "Delete Job".
  • An overview of all your jobs can be found in the section "Current jobs in the database".
  • Please select one or more checkboxes and press the "Delete" button.
    All selected jobs will be removed from the database.

Method 2: Change closing date
  • Login to your account.
  • Press the link "Post and edit jobs".
  • Click the job title in the section "Current jobs in the database".
  • The selected job can be updated. Set the closing date in the past.
  • The job will not be displayed for job seekers.
I need to repost a job that was up three months ago. Do I have to re-enter it?

If you deleted the job, there is no way to repost. You need to re-enter all data again.

If you have not deleted the job click on the job title in the section "Current jobs in the database". You can now repost the job. Just change the job details and set the correct posting and closing date.

Can I post jobs in another language besides English?

You can post in any language you want but it is recommended that you post the jobs in English because this site is completely English based.

Can I change my login details (login email/password)?

You can change your password by logging into your account and selecting link "Change password".

Your login email can only be changed by sending a request using the Mobilefish.com contact form.
  • Please enter your login email in the contact form "email" field.
  • In the "message" field enter your new login email and your company URL.
  • If your request is approved, your login email is changed and a new password is sent to your old login email.
What if I forget my password?

Below the login button, click the link "I forgot my password". Enter your login email and security code and press the send button. A new password will be sent to you.

Can I add images in the "Jobs Details" and "Company Details" section?

You can only display your company logo in the "Company Details" section. This image can be added as follow:
  • Login to your account.
  • Press the link "Change company details".
  • In the "Company logo" field, enter the url where your company logo image can be found.
How many job seekers have viewed my job?

To get this information:
  • Login to your account.
  • Press the link "Post and edit jobs".
  • An overview of all your jobs can be found in the section "Current jobs in the database".
  • In the column "Viewed" you can find out how many times a job seeker has viewed a job.
How will I receive job applications?

When you create a job, please fill the "Apply" field with the instructions how to apply for this job, for example:

You can choose to have your applicants redirected to your own website and apply to the position from your own applicant tracking system.

You can choose to display your contact information and let the job applicants sent their resumes and cover letters.

Can i search resumes?

This service is not available.

What is your privacy policy?

Read the Mobilefish.com privacy policy. It is worth noting when you post jobs we hide your email address field by default. If you want your email address in your job posting you can always add it to the job details or company details section.

Why do I get the error message "Your account has been deactivated. Please read the FAQ."?

If this service is being misued your account will be deactivated and your posted jobs will not be displayed to job seekers. If you think this decision is wrong please send an email to Mobilefish.com.
